It's difficult to balance service and delivery in LA but this place happily surpasses all expectations. All good, feel free to choose at will and you'll be HAPPY, neigh more than satisfied when you leave. A great neighborhood spot.

Good place to have brunch. The mimosas were excellent. And not too crowded. I would recommend the mac and cheese as well as the wild mushroom omelette

Surprisingly the food here is excellent. I've had multiple experiences here years ago with amazing food and terrible services but having come back recently I can say the service was good and the food had gotten better. The happy hour is excellent, it's a hidden gem in and unassuming little plaza.. get some oysters can't go wrong

It’s just alright. $17 for raw tacos, heh? And then the mac n cheese tastes like seafood (why?). Portions are small. Service is good. Overall, overpriced for an OK quality.

Great food. A little pricey and service can be a bit slow sometimes. Great drink selections. Must get garlic fries. The pasta pomodoro is also very good.

Arrived at 10am with a party of 5, restaurant seemed mellow and was about 1/3 full. We waited to be seated for 30 minutes. While we waited, quite a few groups were seated ahead of us, including a group of 6. I'm not sure what we did to offend the hostess, but after waiting for 30 minutes we decided to cut our losses and walked to another restaurant nearby, where we were seated immediately. I'm baffled by this experience and definitely wouldn't return.

Plate 38 is a nice place. The food is great and the service is good. Sandwiches and burgers come with a pickle, fries can be ordered seperatly. Nice bar area but overall the place isn't very big. Outdoor seating available.

The mushroom bisque was sublime. The truffle burger unlike any burger before. The brioche buns are specially baked for the restaurant. Our server, Alana, was amazing.

Went for Monday Happy Hour. Its all night until they close. The apps I had were all really good. Cubano, roast beef and two others. Definitely would love to go back and try more. I order the peppers but they were out and waiter forgot to tell us until we asked if they were coming.

This bar restaurant is on the fringe of the bustling Colorado blvd and offers a wonderful selection of well made cocktails coupled with friendly attentive service. Its interior decor and ambiance is classy with a hint of modern contemporary vibe. The prices are relatively on the upscale which match the quality of the drinks and service. Next time I will update this review on food.

Went for brunch. We didn’t have a reservation and they found a spot for us. Great service, delicious food, allows dogs too. I had the pan seared salmon eggs benedict. An order of fries was enough for the table. Pricey but worth it once in a while.

Plate 38 is very unassuming from the strip mall corner location it sits on, but once you walk through the doors, you know this isn't a regular strip mall restaurant. The brunch menu is filled with so many tempting offerings. I loved the tomato soup with the four cheese prosciutto panini, a steal at $12.50. The restaurant's interior is bright and open with a sleek wood modern design, and the outdoor patio has just enough privacy from the street to create a completely different ambiance from outside. Free parking lot adjacent, but when it's crowded, find street parking.

Great place to dine for lunch or dinner. Great bartenders that will make a drink to compliment your meal. Great dinner specials with unique and different pairings. Nice bar. Patio dining available. Small parking lot next to the restaurant. Minimalist ambiance.

The food was fantastic. My husband and I love that the chef goes out and gets his produce twice a week from the farmers market, and that the menu is always changing! Sounds like they have a lot to offer :)

We ordered two prime rib sandwich and a side salad. The bill was over $50. I think that that is a lot for a lunch. Granted it was prime rib, but it was only the sandwich. No sides. It was tasty. The salad was okay. The service was good. Not sure if I'd come again.

This easily had the potential for 5 stars but I had to drop it a little for some small things. Cons: coffee was warm not hot (fixed by waiters), prices a little high, forgot water, needed catsup and no one to be found. Pros: food was delicious! Great ambiance, friendly staff! Could have been an off day for the waiter. Definitely going back

Love their Fried Chicken during Sunday and Mondays. They serve like half a chicken, mash potatoes, corn on the cob, grilled carrots and some greens. Plus a cornbread.

The food looked amazing but I was big time disappointed withe the taste and overall portion size for the price. My meal, the Wild mushroom omelette, was $15.50 and I didn't feel like it was worth it. My group also ordered a side of rosemary potatoes which looked amazing but again fell short on taste. The pancakes my friend got, amazing. I wish I would have gotten those instead. Very fluffy and just delish. Not sure if I'll go back to this place but off my experience I can't recommend it to anyone.
